Understand an Android app, an Xtream-compatible player and the difference between access methods and subscription duration.

Two separate choices are easy to confuse: how you watch and how long you subscribe. An app or player determines the setup process. A one-year or two-year plan determines duration. Choosing a longer plan does not automatically change the app, supported device or number of simultaneous screens.

## ETV Pro: the Android app route

ETV's public setup material describes a dedicated Pro app for compatible Android devices. The instructions distinguish the ordinary ETV app from ETV Pro, so installing whichever name appears first in a search can lead to the wrong setup. ## Xtream: access inside a compatible player

The ETV Pro storefront describes Xtream access using three account fields: a server URL, username and password. These are entered in a compatible player; it states there is no separate ETV Pro Xtream app. A Pro app download link is not an Xtream server URL.
